The problem
Shower screen seals get you most of the way there. But the corners and hinges? That's where water sneaks through. You end up with a puddle on the bathroom floor every morning, no matter what you do.
You've tried everything
Silicone. Foam strips. Those plastic seal things from B&Q. They're messy, they don't reach the awkward angles, and they look rough within a week. Some people just put a towel down and live with it.
DripPlug fixes it
DripPlug is a gel-like compound that fills the corner and hinge gaps where standard seals give up. Press it into the gap, and it works straight away. No waiting around.
It doesn't attract dust and won't leave residue on your screen. When it eventually wears out after a few months, wipe it off and apply a fresh amount.
How to use it
- Make sure the gap is dry if you can (it works wet too, but dry is better).
- Press DripPlug into the gap with your fingers. Takes about 30 seconds.
- That's it. Shower whenever you want.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Is DripPlug safe?
Yes. We include full safety information on the back of each sachet, and it is safe to touch. - How do you clean it?
Just wipe it away with some toilet roll. There may be a slight residue which some soapy water can remove, but a quick wipe with tissue usually does the job. - Will my shower screen still open and close?
Yes. Unlike silicone sealant, DripPlug doesn't bond surfaces together. It stays put in the gap as a flexible moisture barrier without sticking the screen to the bath or tray. Hinged, pivot, and folding screens all continue to open and close normally. Apply it to the static gaps where water escapes (typically where the screen frame meets the bath rim or wall), not across any moving joint itself. It works alongside your existing seals, not instead of them. - Will it go mouldy like silicone sealant does?
DripPlug resists mould far better than traditional sealant because you can replace it in seconds. Traditional silicone sits in your bathroom for years, gradually trapping soap residue and moisture that feeds mould growth. When it turns black, removing it means scraping with a blade and chemical removers, so most people just live with it. DripPlug wipes away with a tissue and can be refreshed in under a minute. No build-up, no scraping, no mould taking hold. We don't advertise DripPlug as mold resistant because that would change our safety labeling requirements, but in our testing mould just isn't an issue - How long does it last before I need to reapply?
DripPlug lasts months under normal shower use before it needs refreshing, particularly if you're not moving it around by shifting your shower screen. You'll know it's time when you notice water starting to escape again. Reapplication takes under a minute: wipe away the old gel with a tissue, dry the area, and squeeze on a fresh line. Easy reapplication is the feature, not the compromise. - What shower setups does it work with?
DripPlug works with virtually any setup because it's a mouldable gel, not a rigid strip. It conforms to the shape of whatever gap you press it into. This includes hinged, pivot, and folding bath screens, curved screens on P-shaped and L-shaped baths, frameless glass panels, quadrant enclosures, and sliding door enclosures. It works on bath rims, shower trays, glass, tiled walls, chrome frames, and acrylic surfaces. Apply it wherever water escapes through a static gap. - Can I remove it without damaging my bath or tiles?
Yes. DripPlug wipes away cleanly with a dry tissue or cloth. No scraping tools, no chemical removers, no residue, no risk of scratching. This makes it ideal for rental properties where you need a reversible fix, and for homeowners who want the option to reposition or remove it at any time. It won't mark, stain, or damage glass, acrylic, ceramic, chrome, or tiled surfaces. - Is two sachets enough?
Each sachet covers approximately 15cm, so a pair gives you 30cm of coverage. That's by design. Shower screen leaks rarely happen along the entire edge; they almost always come from one or two specific trouble spots, typically where the hinge bracket sits on the bath rim or where a seal strip ends and leaves a gap. Two sachets are enough to treat these problem areas on most standard bath screens. For larger enclosures with multiple leak points, we'd recommend picking up two packs. - How is this different from just using silicone sealant?
Traditional silicone cures into a rigid bond designed to permanently stick two surfaces together. That's great for sealing a bath to a wall, but it's the wrong tool for a shower screen where gaps shift as the screen opens and closes. DripPlug is a flexible moisture barrier, not an adhesive. It sits in the gap as a soft, pliable gel that blocks water without locking anything in place. It removes instantly with a tissue, and because it doesn't cure hard, it maintains its seal even on acrylic baths that flex slightly under your weight (a common reason sealant cracks and fails). - What size gap can it handle?
DripPlug is a mouldable gel, so it adapts to the gap rather than requiring you to measure and match a specific size. It works best in gaps up to around [X]mm. For very small hairline gaps, a thin smear is all that's needed. For wider gaps, you can build up a thicker application. If your gap is larger than 5mm, a physical seal strip may be better for the main span, with DripPlug used to plug the spots where the strip doesn't fully seal.
